Why Did You Join the Fort Wayne Trails Board?

The trails are a vital part of our community. Seeing our system evolve and grow over the years makes me proud to call Fort Wayne home. When my clients started asking me to find them houses close to the trails I knew this was something that was going to continue to be a growing need. I wanted to be a part of the development and expansion of our trail system.

What Does our Trail System Mean to You?

The trails help me stay fit and offer a great way to get around while enjoying beautiful stretches of scenery! I use the trails to get out and clear my mind while walking or biking. I also love to go with my friends and catch up while we are walking or biking.

How Do You Use the Trails the Most?

Walking and Biking

What Excites You Most About FWT’s Mission?

Fundraising and advocating to continue to build and connect trails is essential to the continued growth and development of our community. I’m honored to serve in this capacity.

What Do You Want People To Know About Fort Wayne Trails?

People may be surprised to know that we don’t actually build the trails! Fort Wayne Trails is an advocate in the development of a connected, multipurpose trail system in Allen County. We raise money to fund the continued expansion and connection of our trail system.

Brewed IN the Fort is Fort Wayne Trail’s largest annual fundraiser. At the 2019 event, we were able to raise $23,000 for trails in Allen County. Like so many things this year, Brewed IN the Fort has been
canceled, but not all is lost. One part of this fun festival that we have been able to take virtual is the auction. Please help us raise money for expanding and connecting trails in Fort Wayne and Allen County
by bidding on some amazing food, fun, and experiences. The items are now available for preview and the bidding will kick off 12 Noon on Wednesday and will end 5 pm Sunday.
