The Poka-Bache Connector will connect from to Pokagon State Park in Angola to Oubache (pronounced “Wabash”) State Park in Bluffton. The 81-mile connector trail will bring Steuben, Dekalb, Allen, and Wells counties together. This trail is a crucial part of the United Trails project in our region. It is planned as a tourist destination and will support cultural growth for all four counties. For more information on the Poka-Bache and other projects, please visit the NIRCC website.
Fort Wayne Trails is proud to be a part of the Poka-Bache Coalition which is working to plan and build the remaining sections of the 82-mile trail from Pokagon State Park to Ouabache State Park. Our executive director is a part of the coalition and also is the co-chair of the grant committee.
